As Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Anniversary, the Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Amasenibo Hon. Abinye Pepple, DSSRS has urged citizens to embrace unity and shared responsibility in shaping the nation’s future.

In his message made available to Kristina reports to commemorate the occasion, Pepple emphasised that Nigeria’s diversity should be seen as a source of strength rather than division.

He highlighted the resilience of Nigerians over the decades, noting that the sacrifices of the nation’s founding fathers must not be in vain.

The Bonny LGA Chairman also underscored the significance of Bonny as an economic hub whose contributions to the nation’s development continue to stand out. He assured that his administration remains committed to local development and creating opportunities that align with national growth.

Pepple concluded by calling on Nigerians to strengthen their commitment to peace, justice, and progress, stressing that the true spirit of independence lies in collective effort and shared prosperity.
