Bonny Chairman Calls for Unity, Shared Prosperity at Nigeria’s 65th Independence

As Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Anniversary, the Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Amasenibo Hon. Abinye Pepple, DSSRS has urged citizens to embrace unity and shared responsibility in shaping the nation’s future.

In his message made available to Kristina reports to commemorate the occasion, Pepple emphasised that Nigeria’s diversity should be seen as a source of strength rather than division.

He highlighted the resilience of Nigerians over the decades, noting that the sacrifices of the nation’s founding fathers must not be in vain.

“Independence reminds us not only of where we are coming from but of the vision we must keep alive, a Nigeria where every community, big or small, contributes to national prosperity”.

The Bonny LGA Chairman also underscored the significance of Bonny as an economic hub whose contributions to the nation’s development continue to stand out. He assured that his administration remains committed to local development and creating opportunities that align with national growth.
